Find the Right Services
Outpatient services allow individuals to receive treatment while remaining connected to work, family and daily life.
Support may include counseling, substance use treatment, co-occurring mental health care, case management and connections to additional resources.
Outpatient detox from drugs or alcohol is the first step on the road to recovery followed by additional services such as partial care, case management, outpatient counseling, primary healthcare screening and more.
The Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Mercer County focuses on improving overall health through community-based mental health and addiction treatment.
For some people living with an opioid or other substance use disorder, medication can be an important part of treatment.
Medication-assisted treatment (Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Essex and Cumberland Counties) combines appropriate medication with outpatient counseling and other services based on individual needs.
Lifesaving medications include monthly injections of Sublocade or Vivitrol or oral medications such as Suboxone or Naltrexone. In collaboration with you or your loved one, medications are managed by our psychiatrists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APN).
Recovery is strengthened through connection.
Programs such as Support Team for Addiction Recovery (STAR) in Cumberland and Burlington Counties provide peer support through Oaks team members with lived experience.
Ongoing support for adults recovering from opioid use disorder address challenges that can make recovery harder including housing, transportation, legal concerns, healthcare, employment and access to treatment.
Safe, stable housing can be an essential foundation for recovery.
Programs such as Safe at Home connect eligible individuals living with opioid use disorder who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with care management, peer support and housing assistance.
Mental health and substance use needs frequently overlap.
Oaks provides integrated services that recognize both, helping individuals receive more coordinated care rather than treating each concern in isolation.
Opioid Overdose Recovery Program (OORP) responds in-person at participating Burlington County emergency rooms to survivors reversed from an overdose. Recovery Specialists link survivors to treatment, follow-up care, peer support and community resources.
Walk into the Evesham Police Department and ask for help with addiction without fear of judgment.
On Mondays from 12:00–7:00 p.m., individuals can voluntarily visit the Evesham Police Department, turn in drugs and meet with an Oaks team member or coordinating provider. The team will complete an assessment, begin connecting the person to treatment and coordinate follow-up support and community resources.
